"Desahogo" Booklet
"Desahogo" Booklet
$15.00
The word desahogar means to vent, but if you translate it literally, it means to un-drown: releasing the burdens you are holding to save you from drowning.
“Desahogo” is inspired by the feeling of loss or grief when something ends abruptly, when you are left without a sense of closure or the inability to be honest or vulnerable about a feeling. It reflects on cultural ideas about love, as well as personal experiences that have reinforced habits of concealing and swallowing emotion. Creating “Desahogo” was a way for me to let these emotions drain and transform into something else.
